Co-teaching has become a widely-implemented instructional model for ensuring that students with disabilities have access to high-quality instruction in the general education classroom. The goal of co-teaching is for all students to receive the support needed in an inclusive environment. This professional learning experience will introduce the essential elements of a high-quality co-teaching program (partnership, planning, models, assessment) grounded in the tenets of research, accountability, and fidelity. Resources and materials will be provided to expand participants' foundational knowledge of co-teaching.
